Author Guidelines

Publishing Policy, Publication Ethics, and Instructions for Authors

Journal of Horticulture, Forestry and Biotechnology, publishes original papers in English in all areas of horticulture, landscaping, genetics, applied biotechnology and forestry.

Before submitting a paper, please read the publication ethics below.

Authors are encouraged to submit their papers in Word for Windows using the template file.

Journal of Horticulture, Forestry and Biotechnology is an open access journal. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater international exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to view, save, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the full content or use them for any legitimate purposes without the prior consent of the author or publisher. Authors hold full copyright and can distribute the published article without any further permission from the publisher.

No Submission Charges

This journal does not charge any costs for submitting an article.

No Article Processing Charges (APCs)

This journal does not charge any costs for the copy editing and type setting of accepted articles.

Publication Ethics

Our publishing policy includes peer-reviewing in order to:

- filter the scientifically acceptable papers,

- improve the quality of papers,

- avoid plagiarism,

- avoid multiple submissions.

Submitted papers should not be considered for publication by other journals. The author is responsible for obtaining, if needed, the permission for publication of peer authors or other institutional authorities.

Authors are required to prepare their paper carefully, including reference to any paper they used results from, well demarcating their own results.

In the unlikely event when we become aware of ethics violation, we do not hesitate to publish corrections, clarifications, even retract the paper with appropriate apologies, as the case may be.

We agree with COPE in promoting integrity in research publication.
